About two months until the season tips off. When that glorious time comes, we'll be going through game-by-game coverage, rankings, ramblings - very gangsta.
Enjoy the videos and sporadic blurbs. Let's get psyched for '08-'09.

NBAtv Olajuwon On His Title Run
Jason Friedman interviews D.J. Strawberry
I'm not personally too opinionated on the matter, but I know my friend Steve and fellow addict Rob have had this discussion before:
"JCF: Are you a Live or 2K guy for basketball?
DJ: I’m a Live guy, personally.
JCF: Oh no.
DJ: (laughs) I can’t get into the 2K. I don’t know why. Probably just because I grew up with Live. I’ve heard 2K is good, I’ve just never really played it much. Maybe I’ll have to check it out.
JCF: You have to. It’s way more realistic than Live."

Chris.... watching that Hakeem video brings up a pretty important discussion. Had Hakeem not tipped Stark's 3, would it have gone in? Remembering how ridiculous he was in that game shooting.
Hmmm..
Bill Worrell said in the clip that it was "right on line" and then olajuwon swooped in to tip it.
i watched the clip a couple times, and you can see starks turn his head a tiny bit to see if hakeem was still coming after the screen.
i think starks new he didnt have enough space -but- i bet he tossed it up just perfectly because when a little finger tip makes that bad of an airball i bet he was shooting it really soft.
soft probably meant right on, so its hard to tell.
was it the game after or the game before when he went like 0 for 13?
Game after, game 7, and he shot much worse, 2 for 18.
i think olajuwon pujoled starks like he was brad lidge
